PEMANFAATAN WEBSITE PENCARIAN KERJA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKSES INFORMASI PEKERJAAN BAGI MASYARAKAT KECAMATAN MAYONG

Permasalahan utama yang sering dihadapi masyarakat desa adalah keterbatasan akses informasi terkait peluang kerja. Banyak masyarakat masih mengandalkan informasi dari mulut ke mulut sehingga kesempatan memperoleh pekerjaan menjadi lebih sempit. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan pemanfaatan website pencarian kerja sebagai sarana memperoleh informasi lowongan kerja secara cepat dan luas bagi masyarakat Kecamatan Mayong, Kabupaten Jepara. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan meliputi tahap identifikasi kebutuhan masyarakat, pengembangan media web informasi lowongan kerja, sosialisasi penggunaan website, serta pendampingan penggunaan secara langsung kepada masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan website pencarian kerja mampu meningkatkan akses informasi pekerjaan bagi masyarakat, memperluas peluang kerja, serta meningkatkan literasi digital masyarakat desa. Selain itu, website yang dikembangkan juga memungkinkan masyarakat untuk mengunggah data diri dan melihat informasi lowongan pekerjaan dari berbagai sektor industri. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini diharapkan masyarakat Kecamatan Mayong dapat memanfaatkan teknologi informasi secara optimal untuk meningkatkan peluang memperoleh pekerjaan dan mendukung peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat.

ABSTRACT

Limited access to job vacancy information remains one of the challenges faced by rural communities, particularly among productive-age residents seeking employment opportunities. Many people still rely on informal networks such as relatives or friends to obtain job information, which often restricts their opportunities to access broader employment prospects. This community service activity aims to assist the community of Mayong District, Jepara Regency, in utilizing a job search website as a medium for accessing job vacancy information more effectively. The implementation method consisted of several stages, including community needs identification, development of a web-based job search platform, socialization of the website to the community, and direct assistance in using the system. The website was designed to be user-friendly and accessible via smartphones and computers, providing features such as job vacancy listings, job search categories, user registration, and company profile information.

The results of the activity indicate that the utilization of the job search website helps improve community access to employment information and enhances digital literacy among participants. Community members were able to access job vacancy information more easily and understand how to use digital technology to support their job search process. Therefore, the implementation of web-based job search platforms can serve as an effective strategy to expand employment information access and empower rural communities in the digital era.
